Shannon Devereaux Sanford is the author of the book Parent’s Guide to Hudson Valley Schools: Orange & Sullivan County. Shannon has a weekly radio show Shannon Corner on WTBQ Radio in the Hudson Valley where she talks about our options and choices in all areas of our lives.
A graduate of the London School of Journalism, Shannon has lived most of her adult life in Manhattan where she earned a Certificate of Journalism from New York University and holds a B.S. from The State University of New York. She was an editor-in-chief of a monthly newsletter for a woman’s nonprofit organization in Manhattan and worked as an image consultant for celebrities and politicians, in television and at the Wall Street Journal.
Shannon lives in a cozy cottage surrounded by a white picket fence on a serene country lake road (who would have ever thought after all those Manhattan party years!) with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
