Shannon Devereaux Sanford is the author of the book Parent’s Guide to Hudson Valley Schools: Orange & Sullivan County.
A graduate of the London School of Journalism, Shannon has lived most of her adult life in Manhattan where she earned a Certificate of Journalism from New York University, studied Journalism at Columbia University and has a Bachelor of Science from The State University of New York. She was an editor-in-chief of a monthly newsletter for a woman’s nonprofit organization in Manhattan, worked for a columnist at the Washington Post and as an image consultant for celebrities and politicians, in television and at the Wall Street Journal.
Shannon lives in a cozy cottage surrounded by a white picket fence on a serene country lake road (who would have ever thought after all those Manhattan party years!) with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
