The Pink Locker Society

June 24th, 2009

We all know puberty can be a critical time in a girl’s life (boys too) and we want to help our kids through it as best we can. We also know they need to have a place where they can go for infomation and support - a place of their own. KidsHealth (the #1 website for kids and parents) knows that as well and have created The Pink Locker Society (www.PinkLockerSociety.org)  for tween girls as a place they can go to get information, advice and comfort via an entertaining and very cool, fun and savvy site.

Joining me Thursday at 12 noon will be Debra Moffitt, the author of The Pink Society Book and editor of www.KidsHealth.org. Debra recieves thousands of emails from tweens and she knows what they need and what they want to discuss and learn about. The book and website gives girl-to-girl advice about growing up and all that comes with it. Join me to learn more about this exciting new site and book for tween girls so you and your kids can learn how to make good choices!

Did you ever wake up after the weekend and say, “Thank God it’s Monday!”  That is the name of my guest today Roxanne Emmerich’s, book and she says you should wake up and be happy to go to work. Her book (www.thankgoditsmonday.com) explains How to Create a Workplace You and Your Customers Love. She says, and I agree, “companies that know how to have fun make more money.” Listen in today as she tells us how to do that and talks about her book.

Also joining me will be Suzanne Ross author of The Wicked Truth about Love (www.wickedtruthaboutlove.com). In her delightful and very informative book she will help you discover what your love traits are (with a great quiz in the book) and also how we are often influenced by Hollywood and not our heart. She has some great advice for all of us so listen in and learn how you can make good choices ~
